Who is Mother of Readers?

Hello! I am Rati Girish a.k.a Mother of Readers.

I am a former journalist and now a part-time, multi-disciplinary content creator. I enjoy reading children’s literature and believe the world would be a better place if more adults read children’s books. I’m a mom to two boys who have widely different reading interests, offering me an insight into some unique books.

I believe Indian children’s literature is going through a golden age when our books are some of the best in the world — discourse on contemporary topics, winning high accolades— all while being representational. All we need now is for more parents to believe in them and pick them up for their children.
